Sole organizer for BCN’s ‘Workshop on Enterprise-Based Conservation in the Pacific,’ with participants from Research and Conservation Foundation, Pacific Heritage Foundation, Foundation for People and Community Development, Conservation International and SPACHEE, University of the South Pacific, Fiji. Shopped and budgeted the workshop and travel for participants from all over Melanesia ; invited government, diplomatic, donor and aid organizations to the event; produced and distributed all pre- and post-publicity, including an hour-long documentary for local TV.

Research and Conservation Foundation. Sole consultant for ecotourism in the Crater Mountain Wildlife Management Area, extending over Chimbu, Eastern Highlands and Gulf Provinces, including creation and implementation of a training program for local guest houses and tour guides. Includes assessing and implementing tours and guest house management in and around five village sites within the gazetted area, including rainforest treks as well as river canoe trips; creating and conducting a marketing strategy for the project.
